April 1, 2011

Dan Frank, Senior Executive Vice President at Kwartler Associates, Inc., announced the signing of a lease by Pentax of America for 72,784 square feet at 3 Paragon Drive in Montvale, New Jersey. With the recent leasing of 15,733 square feet by Turner Construction Company, the property is now 95 percent occupied.

Both the landlord and tenant were represented in the transaction by Geoffrey Schubert of CB Richard Ellis.

The 98,000-square-foot, headquarters-quality facility recently underwent a major renovation. Well located in a prestigious area of Bergen County off the Garden State Parkway, it is in close proximity to several hotels and conference centers as well as a number of major corporate headquarters including Mercedes Benz, BMW, Benjamin Moore, and KPMG, to name a few.

Pentax is vacating space at 102 Chestnut Ridge Road, another Kwartler-managed property, to expand at Paragon Drive.

"We're really pleased to be expanding our relationship with Pentax and are happy that we could accommodate the company's additional space needs", said Mr. Frank.

Pentax develops and manufactures video and fiber endoscopy equipment and imaging products for diagnostic, therapeutic, and research applications.
